PsychoFreak
The PsychoFreak features many design and material innovations from O’Neill.
The Psychofreak is made with different pieces of innovative high quality neoprene. The chest is made with XDS Air Firewall neoprene. XDS Air-Firewall is a neoprene
sandwich that features a middle layer of perforated neoprene that traps air. The concept is the same as in double paned windows in that the trapped air helps to insulate the body and preventing heat from escaping. 3.5mm XDS neoprene is the warmth equivalent of 5mm traditional neoprene. The thinner XDS offers more flexibility and warmth than traditional neoprene. The arms and lower legs feature XXXDS neoprene which is a high quality superstretch neoprene that offers maximum flexibility.
The neoprene panels are put together with the Super Seam Weld that is a stitchless triple glued seam with internal and external silicone seals. The Psychofreak is a back zipper wetsuit that features a Z.E.N. closure system. A zen collar and barrier system prevent water seepage through the zipper to keep the body warmer in the cold water.

Psycho2
The Psycho 2 features XDS-Air Firewall neoprene in the chest and back and super stretch XXXDS Neoprene in the arms for great flexibility. The neoprene panels are put together with a double fluid seam weld which is a stitchless triple glued seam with Silicone based internal and external seals. The Psycho 2 is a back zip suit that features the Z.E.N. closure system (read description in Psychofreak section). The Psycho2 is available in 3/2 and 4/3 thicknesses. Psycho RG8 Regenerate
This wetsuit is O’Neill’s environmentally friendlier wetsuit.
The chest area is made with O’Neill’s RG8-Air Firewall which is the same neoprene sandwich design as the XDS-Air Firewall but created from a limestone based neoprene that is more environmentally friendly. The Polyester laminates are built from recycled materials. The arms and legs are made with Ultraflex RG8 which is a limestone based stretch neoprene. The Psycho RG8 is a front zipper wetsuit. O’Neill calls their front zip system the F.U.Z.E. closure system that has a water barrier system similar to O’Neill’s back zip Z.E.N. closure system. The neoprene panels are put together with a single fluid seam weld. The Psycho RG8 comes in a 3/2, 4/3, and 5.5/4 thicknesses and also comes in models featuring an attached hood. Seams are weak points in the wetsuit where potential water seepage may occur. The neoprene panels are put together with a single fluid seam weld which means the seams are sealed on the exterior. The mutant is O’Neill’s most versatile wetsuit. The mutant features a modular closure system where you can connect either a crew neck or a detachable hood. The chest is built with ultraflex sl firewall neoprene the arms and shoulders are stretchy Ultraflex ds and the lower body and legs are fluidflex neoprene. The neoprene panels are put together with exterior fluid seam weld meaning the exterior of the seams are sealed to prevent water seepage. The mutant is a front zipper wetsuit. The super freak is takes the F.U.Z.E front zip closure system and applied it to a more affordable wetsuit. The SuperFreak features Ultraflex DS stretchy neoprene in the upperbody including the arms and shoulders and less stretchy Fluidflex neoprene in the torso and legs. As mentioned above, the SuperFreak is a front zipper wetsuit. The SuperFreak is designed with minimal seams to minimize water seepage points. Neoprene panels are glued and blindstitched.
